Frigg was a German Goddess, she was married to Oden for all the good it did her, and she was the mother of Baldur. But it wouldn't really be the English Language if it wasn't constantly taking its knickers off for the wretched Romans. Absolutely no reason to bring the relationship between Oden and the Roman planet Venus into the English word for the fifth day of the week. And why the frig don't we follow the Ancient Greek Tradition of spreading a week over ten days instead of stuffing it into seven days so that a month could have four weeks, instead of three? By the way, spell check, Oden is the Swedish form of the name.

The books going good. Our hero's recall is on the appalling side, and is currently a tad preoccupied with why an eloquent account of the Banyankole's traditional method of determining the succession of their Paramount Leaders doesn't impress chicks. Baxter, my very own Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm has a rival. It's a persisting red itchy bump that sometimes swells up and pops cottage cheese type goo, which is disgusting. It's where the back of my neck meets the top of my back. Technically it's called a sebaceous cyst. Call it a red blotchy pink thing that oozes and they smile sweetly, weigh you, take your pulse and ask you how tall you are.
